0w-20, or max. 5w-30, API SN / SN Plus, is the oil grade recommended for 1KR-FE, by none other than the OEM itself; Toyota (please see the latest owners / user manual for Japanese Vitz, Passo / Boon for further details and confirmation).

For best balance between pick, performance and fuel efficiency, you can use 5w-30, and with complete confidence and peace of mind (even if you live in Sibbi / Jackobabad).

Just prefer 100% fully synthetic or synthetic oil, instead of semi synthetic.

Always use 0w-20w or 5w-30w,and dont ever change the CVT oil plz.

Do not ever change? Are you sure? My car odo is 60k and is in my use sine 20k and i hve never changed it. I am having sleepless nights by reading that it needs to be changed at 40k.please guide

Iam sure 100% if your car is newly imported by yourself so you dont need to change your CVT oil,in Japanese cars there will be a sticker somewhere in your car,they have written there clearly that transmission oil changed on i-e 60k odo then change on 160k
According to Toyota Japan,change your CVT oil on 96,000 kms..... your tranny will be good and if your driving toyota also put Toyota CVT oil which coming in a steel can this is genuine from JapanUploading...

Castrol GTX is the best oil with my experience i always use the Castrol GTX Edge Professional 0W20 or 5W30 the best oil and i will also recommend this but the imported one..
Try it once and see the difference and performance of your cars
