Recommended and Best Engine Oil for Toyota Passo X (2016)

Guys,

I have purchased Toyota Passo X 2016 directly from Japan, 1KR-FE engine (Toyota has done some re-work to extend the Mileage 24 - 28 KM/LITER), its just 15000 KM (Genuine Odo meter reading).

I need to know the recommended and best engine oil for that. Also I need to know what should be taken care for freshly imported car (I mean like CVT oil etc.)

NEED TO KNOW:
1. Recommended Engine oil
2. Recommended Engine oil Quantity in liters

as far as i know, the recommended oil from manufacturer is for 1KR-FE (1000 CC engine) is 0W-20
and 3.1 L with filter change

yes thats correct with filter change it is 3100 ml.

the best tip is whenever you get a car....change everything unless you know the person who sold and he changed everything prior to selling...

go for 0w 20 for engine
and change CVT gear oil , best would be Liqui Moli as per my knowledge..

whichever you get, make sure to get from a reliable source so you are sure of authenticity of oil

If you can get a decent 0w-20 oil then go for that, otherwise 5w-30 really good. Do not change your cvt oil unless there seems to be some issue or the car has completed at least 40kms on odo. Lastly, congratulations on your car! May I know how much you got it for?

Bro, that's a pretty good bargain and the main advantage of importing it yourself. If that odometer is true, than you got a really good deal; Mash'Allah! And yes, as others rightly pointed out, approximately 3.1L is the required Engine Oil quantity with filter. Don't let the mechanic overfill it, and get your Air and Oil filters changed ASAP

Liqui moli is a big brand and trusted one, i would recommend this over others...

i have tried valvoline which is the best oil but unfortunately hamare logo ko ye hazam nahi krne dia dealers logo ne....,

regarding cvt oil change...it does not cause any issue if you change it before intervals...i have done so and i know it...

ow 20 would be best in case if you dont find it then go for 5w 20

let me share another experience with you, a friend of mine imported 4 grade 660cc alto with 12000 km on board..and he has been using 20w 50 since 6 months and so far no issues....whereas this grade is meant for older cars or with weak engines...

Using liqui moly 5w-30 in my vitz. No experience with Amsoil

AMSOIL Signature Series 0W-30 Full Synthetic Motor Oil. With severe drain interval upto 25000km's and normal drain interval upto 40000km's.

I have replaced the engine oil with KIXX G1 SN/CF 0W-20 (3.1 Liters with oil filter replaced - Tin packing)
