Recommended Coolant for Suzuki Khyber

Hi guys,

Any recommendation which coolant should I be using for Suzuki Khyber and how much quantity (in litres) will I need to fill up the radiator? Also, what should be the ideal mix of coolant and water? Would 50/50 be fine?

Alright guys, I have found out. The quantity required is approximately 4.7 litres. The recommended coolant is the one made of Ethylene Glycol. The recommended mixture with water is 50/50. So I think 2.0/2.5 litres of coolant concentrate mixed with water should do the trick.

is it specific for ac use??and wat does coolant does i mean wats it function.i use ac in my khyber without coolant n it does gud cooling.

^^coolant has no concern with AC cooling but it is recommended cuz it prevents rust due to water and hence no blockage in radiator, hose pipes and water body etc

Hey guys plz recommend which coolant brand would be better for Khyber i.e; NASA, CALTEX (Very Exp.) etc ???

The recommended coolant will be caltex but use that only if ur radiator is free from rust and no service will be required soon . NASA coolant will be suitable in your case . Just make sure u buying an original one .

As compared to water, coolant have higher boiling point and lower freezing point.

Coolant is usually used for following reasons:
1. Prevent Overheating
2. Avoid Rusting
3. And as an Electrical Insulator

I discussed the issue with my mechanic a few days ago. He said any coolant will do the work and the good combination is 75% coolant and 25% water.

I have been using 50/50 so far in my Khyber, now I will switch to said 75/25.

if you add more coolant than 50% the engine will overheat, and if you use less than 40% the anti rust property will be effected. so stick to the 50-50.
