Recommended enclosure for 308d2

308d2 recommends three dimensions for sealed enclosure.
1: minimum 0.85 Cu ft
2: recommended 1.25 cu ft
3: maximum 1.75 cu ft.
Now i want to make 1.00 cu ft enclosure what will be its impact on the SQ? please suggest me, and also guide me is there any impact of shape of the enclosure if i made it rectangular or square? and what is plexiglass and how it is fitted to the enclosure (with nails or something else) and what should be used in making enclosure i.e. nails or threaded screws? PLEASE HELP

also please help me how should i dampen the enclosure as it will be a sealed one. please experts help me i am hungrily waiting for replies.

well bro 308 is not exactly a sub ti be used in a sealed box. in sealed box rectangulr or square doesnt matter. in ported they do. plexiglass is a clear plastic sheet that is used in some sub enclosures, kinda like a glass. not everyone can work with it and u fit it with screws.

Sir Pioneer 308 is not a very good SUB for SQ, however it will sound good in a sealed enclosure.

You should be better with a Kenwood 3012, Kenwood eXcelon 1024 10", JBL GT5-12, AlpineType E or JL 12WX, whichever you can find.

You can make the dimensions as you want, just take care of the strength and wood/MDF used, it should be of best possible quality.

If you cannot get your hands on MDF/Lasani, get any other good plywood, at least .5" or as thick as manageable/affordable.

Seal all the corners with a carpenter glue (yellow color).

The smallest size is generally good for SQ.

i have bought a chekboard (locally called) with 0.75" thick and glue with white color, also 1/2 KG polyester (used in cushions don't know it is right or not) for damping, and screws 1.5" not the nails, also a terminal for the connection, foam for fixing the woofer corners, silicon for sealing the joints externally.

now please guide me, are these things enough for making enclosure and how to fill the polyester in the enclosure? and how to fix the terminal, should i make hole for wire to out or fix the terminal and attach the wire with it internally?

please help i have to make the enclosure tonight i have very limited time.

Sir that is not a job to be done in a limited time, can you post some pictures, what have you got?

i have done, now my enclosure is made 1.36 Cu ft. will post the pictures soon. i have taken enough pictures during making procedures. Thank you all.
