Recommended Engine Oil for 1GD 2.8 Toyota Hilix Revo

My dear friend toyota has CI-4 rating oil named as dezon plus 20w-50 which is some what better than dezon and blended by MAL(Mobil) pakistan. But they don't have ot either at their showrooms. Funny​

My dear friend liqui moly and mobil are premium brands. But you can achieve same performance with less price if you use Profi car Oil. It is from germany same as liqui moly and less in price. I will recommend profi car instead. Mobil is far more expensive

Got mobil super 5-30 realised later it was semi synthetic 🧐. Yet to get it changed

Its march 2020. Revo is the currently the best seller for IMC, booking time of almost 3 months, but so unfortunate, after sales services are so poor, i m here back again, using Revo 1Gd for almost 2 years now. I am so far unable to find one final engine oil for my car. Toyota dealership still selling me 20w50 toyota dezon engine oil. Time has passed and this engine is running all over pakistan in numbers.
Has anyone so far found a decent after market engine oil for Revo/fortuner 1gd engines? I m ready to spend any amount for the best engine oil available. Waiting for suggestions.

I would buy 5w-30 if available but common here is 15-49

I am in Karachi. I ve been using Mobil 1 Delvac 5w40 since the start. I bought two 20L pails so I got a better per litre price. Let me find the contact number of the oil depot for you

What is your oil change interval? Using Mobile Delvac1 5w40 in revo for 10,000 kms ?

My running is not that much. So I change it at around 6000 to 7000km because that takes like 8 to 10 months for me.

Got this oil, havent driven much due lockdown, so far drive feels promising.

If you’re still looking for a good oil that protects as well as most of the other suggestions, just get Caltex Delo 400 mgx. It will cost around 5k for 8 liters and easily exceeds all minimum requirements for our engine. Even Delo Good Ultra will be fine.

I go 7-8k per oil change and it’s perfect.

I want to add that a guy from Shift Car Studio G9 Markaz Islamabad recommends Kixx 5W-30 G1 and Kixx 5W-30 PAO C3 (Diesel)for Revo 1GD.

Yes. Its expensive though but fully synthetic and will run easily 10000kms in your Hilux.
