It’s semisynthetic, use the one he shared in second photo. It’s fully synthetic. Change at every 8k kms with original/genuine oil filter.

Use 5w40. I also have grande 2015. Using same liqui moly 5w40. Living in karachi and getting average of 12kmpl. Sometimes upto 12.5kmpl. But i use 100% high octane. Though here in pakistani market hi octane might not be the same grade as advertised or promised. But its total off topic discussion. There might be a thread about it somewhere in PW forums.

You may drive for 10k. But as a precaution better change it at 8000 kms.

Just last thing to ask that will it be good for new engine because my altis is just 26000 km driven someone told me that this engine oil is for old engine like when it cross 80k ? Please guide me

No it’s wrong. It’s perfectly suitable for your car.

FYI, I checked with Indus Motors directly. Our 1GD engines come filled with Toyota Dezon 20W50 from the factory...the showroom shouldn’t even be using Petron in it.

Recently a friend who deals in off raod parts told that Liquimoly oils currently available in Pakistan are expired or repacked. So i have stopped using LM. For the time time being went to toyota and got Dezon 20w50 as it is used by IMC in thier own cars. Can anybody recommend where to buy Mobil 1 engine oils in karachi?

I believe there are Mobil lubricant dealers in Badar Commercial and Tauheed Commercial.

I actually picked up Caltex Delo 400MGX from an authorized dealer on main Ittehad and will be trying that in a few weeks, as I’m only at 3900km at the moment.

I am using Liqui Moly 5W-40 oil in my revo 2.8GD engine. It’s not giving me good average in city, average is 10.8 or 10.6km\h. Its a brand new car only driven 6000km yet.
I am thinking to change oil next time at 10000km.
Please suggest me a good oil for revo and which ratio ?
And also tell me from where i am going to get original oil filter and air filter rather than showroom ?

Hi guys,
old thread but i was looking for oil change 1GD 2.8 and came cross this thread.... Being a lay man, all above formulas and chemistry went miles above me.

So i googled and came to know that based on the above chart, its more weather dependent, we have approx. 3-4 months C40+ temperature on the roads. 5W-30 means that it can tackle or manage low temperatures but 30 is not good enough for high temperatures specially central and south PK...As for thickness of the oil, first self or any self after few hours should give 2 min approx. to properly lubricate the engine parts before driving it off.

Thats what i understand unless i'm missing something?

These temps chart are useless bhai. 5w-30 suits very well and is recommended grade as well. Only the cold start matters.
