Recommended Engine Oil for JDM Suzuki Alto 2015

I have recently purchased JDM Suzuki Alto 2015 model with 20000 KM reading. It is Alto X with "ENE Charge" technology. Kindly reccomend engine oil for that car.

0w-20 or max. 5w-30, API SN / SN Plus, Fully Synthetic Engine Oil. For best for bucks; use Total Quartz 9000 Future Series (or latest compatible available).

The oil recommended in user manual is 0W-20 Semi-Synthetic or Synthetic. 0W-20 is expensive and hard to find you can use at max 5W-30. I use Suzuki Genuine Efficient Oil Semi Synthetic 5W-30
My car was imported at 5200km reading and now is 22000 reading. Fuel Average i am getting is 20 Kmpl (manual calculation)

Dont go for any brand like Shell, Total Kixx as you cant guarantee its original . 99.999% of authorized distribute of these brands mentioned on their sites also sell fake oil . Dont ever cheap out on fake oils it will destroy your engine.

Either get 0W-20 or 5W-20 from Zic which you can buy directly from their website free delivery. The engine uses 2.6 Litres of oil
Zic 0W-20: 2721 rupees
Zic 5W-20: 2572 rupees

On each purchase you get points and and some less cost the next time you buy it.

Suzuki 5W-30: Around 2500 price. it used to be 2300 but i think now it was 2500 last time i changed oil

It will break down if 0W-20 is not used since it has idle stop. its even fine in summers

Bro, one can easily go for these brands as long as he buys them from authentic stores, and ensures that they are genuine and original. Authentic stores do exist, you just need to figure them out.

Zic 5W-20: 2572 rupees

I bought a carton (6 packs of 3L each, Total 18 Litres) of ZIC A+ 5w-20 from Pakistan Oil Store, Lahore, in last week of December, 2018 and it costed me 11,800 PKR, 1966.67 PKR for each 3L pack, and the price would have been same, even if I had bought a single pack.

Bro, company can't sell it at that much rate online. Otherwise, they will only have online buyers, but no dealers, distributors, etc. Secondly, commission also matters. It's same like if you look for an appliance from company outlet, and then, the same product from stores in market, you will see the difference. They sometimes themselves say to buy from other stores.

Ok so the company only has online buyer and no distributor what happens then . Unkay paisay mein kami thori hogi distributor na honay se . It will benefit them more since their reputation will improve and their costs will reduce.
Its market dynamics if you study about market research a little. E-Commerce is the new thing and by 2030 in most countries which are progressing unlike Pakistan there will be no physical store of almost anything.

As for the commission on a small cheap product like this 600 rupee commission is highly unlikely.
Pakistan juggar ka adda hai 100% packaging same hoti hai bas andar oil nai sahi hota and you think its genuine its not. If there was any definite market telling you its genuine or not i would have proved it to you by buying oil from Pakistan oil shop and from zic website.

Most of the people don't have any idea regarding Pakistan Oil Store. Its said "Seeing is Believing", most have neither seen nor experienced Pakistan Oil Store, so accordingly, they will never believe! All believe in the thinking that "The more expensive a product is; the Best it is!"

Exactly...! That's what I meant too, but couldn't explain. You explained everything perfectly.

Most of the people think that if an oil is being sold online by company website, then it will be 100% genuine at whatever price. However, if the same oil is being sold by some reputed store; is too 100% genuine and below company website price, people think that it will not be genuine.

Company price and company website price are 2 different things. Website price will be same to everyone, however, company price will be different for end user / consumer, retailer, whole-seller, distributor, etc.

Pakistan Oil Store is a huge store, and I was amazed to see it. People were buying in huge quantities, and they all were themselves oil stores owners and shopkeepers from different cities. Oils (in hundreds of Liters) were being loaded in to trucks and transported to other cities. They buy directly from companies and give all the benefit to the direct buyer. Literally, gem of a store and persons! Other oil stores are also there in the vicinity, but no matches the repute and respect of Pakistan Oil Store. And fake oil dealers and distributors do not survive market, and its dynamics; its ruthless! And they will get immediately exposed and behind bars.

Assalam o Alaikum

I have recently bought Alto Japanese Model 2013 reg. 2016.
It has done 125,000 km.

I want information about the Engine oil and gear oil as well.
Questions that come to my mind are as under........

1. Which grade oil should I use ?
2. Which is the best brand ?
3. Where to buy genuine oil in Karachi Gulshan area ?
4. same questions about the Gear oil as I have no idea when was it changed last time ?

If you can guide me it will be so nice of you.......
