Liquimoly hi tech 5w-30 or top tech 5w-30 or mobil1 for toyota altis 1.6? Odo is only 4500kms done.

Using it in my uncle's 1.6 2015 since the start now 78k km driven in Islamabad. First few oil change was from Toyota and they use to pour 10w-30 mineral.
Car engine is smooth and silent.

If availability is problem then I would recommend to use total 5w-30 not very expensive around 3500 for 4L easily available and change from reputable total pumps.
Change oil+filter every 8k km.
Good for all round year.

He was just sensitive about warranty for the first 10000km which was very expensive just for a simple oil change toyota
hand you a large bill after that he is using the above oil.

Wa Alaikum Salam. Bro 5w-30 is OK. However, also ensure that its API SN / SN plus, ILSAC GF-5, Fully Synthetic and 100% genuine and original.

Reputed brands who offer Fully Synthetic in 5w-30 include Totachi, Mitasu, Total Quartz 9000 Future Series (best for bucks), Mobil1, etc.

Bro, Fully Synthetic Liqui Moly and Mobil1 5w-30 are much better than the Total Quartz 9000 future series 5w-30.

Fully Synthetic Liqui Moly and Mobil1 are expensive.

Total Quartz 9000 future series 5w-30 is value for money.

I have a good experience with 5w-30 Total Quartz 9000, very good fuel economy with it. I have been using it in my 1.6 2016 for a while now, fully satisfied.

FYI, it's Fully Synthetic, it should be better. Good luck.

quartz 5w30 or shell HX7. both are great oils. im on 5w30 in my 1.8 cvt giving excellent results at 5k change.

went to toyota cantt this saturday and they had a new oil in stock 5W-50 toyota TAGLON they were calling it. i didn't check the api ratings etc as i was i didn't have time and had brought my own oil any way. but searching online it seems its official. any one has any idea of the approvals of this oil and whether they are blending it locally. i dont understand why did they launch 5W-50 which is quite thick and bit unusual grade for corolla keeping in mind that the owners manual doesnt specify i…

I have been getting 8Km/L on my 1.6 after using a Guard Oil (mineral) which pretty much destroyed my fuel average.

The fuel average is improving each time I take it on the highway. Mostly my route involves local areas, whereas I am dropping my siblings to school + grocery shopping, which again makes the car idle for 1-2 minutes at most + potholed roads of Gulshan-e-Hadeed, requires a lot of breaking.

The oil is great, go for it, you will NOT regret. Value for money and cheap. VERY good oil.

I have 2016, altis 1.6 automatic with 85 on odo. I have been using total quartz 5w-30. And I can tel you that it's the best oi for corolla with value to money.
