No such thing as drying the engine. No basis to all these claims. Please check your owner's manual for the recommended RON value of fuel for your car.
Almost all locally assembled cars in Pakistan, whether new or old, require approx 91RON fuel. Doesn't matter if it's zero meter city or Grande or Civic Turbo RS. This requirement can be easily met by the regular or "premium" fuel sold at petrol stations since it is advertised as 92RON, given the fuel is unadulterated, and actually reflective of quality and RON value advertised.
95RON or 97RON fuels are mostly required by high-compression, forced-induction engines which we mostly see in imported vehicles like Audi, Mercedes-Benz and BMW in Pakistan. No need to pour this in Corolla, Civic, City, etc. whether zero-meter or old.
