Recommended Tires for Honda Civic 2017-18

Hello Everyone,

Currently my car is with original tyres (used around 36000 km) and now I am planing to change tires.

I personally satisfied with the progress of original tires (came along with car) but tire shop rep was recommending inported tyres (Mitchlen/Yokohama)

Please suggest about best option to go with.?

Well they are noisy and experienced users have view that they lose traction and become stiff really early at about 10-12000km mark and some users even mentioning them getting bad at 5000km mark.
Mines are just 2000km old so i cant say much other than the noise and a bit stiff ride with stock BG Luxo plus.

Continental MC5 (best all round tyre)
Yokohama AdvanDB V552 (the new one)

I am also driving Civic X 2017...
Avoid Michelins coz they are hard... will last long but ride quality is compromised

As per your question about factory tyres... well i would say thay BGs are the shittiest tyres... Once u experience Conti or Yoko then u’l realize that u have been deprived of the real drive & comfort of this car...
