Kindly share your experience and suggestion for Transmission Oil for Daihatsu Esse 2008 3AT. Its not a CVT i believe.

Which transmission oil should be used n how much?

Whos the best person/ place to get this good done from in Islamabad?

check on the dipstick or somewhere on the bonnet, it should say something in english letters like ATF, D-III or T-IV.

Nothing at all i have already checked... only COLD/HOT is written on the dipstick.. i dont have the owners manual.. tried check the engine bay for any sticker or info but all in vain

on toyota manufactured vehicles - the dipstick hat (orange one) usually has a white sticker on it with the recommendation.

If its a 4spd auto then best find the owners manual first or look up the transmission model code in your vehicle and then look for its lube requirement.

have 2010 esse, 4 speed auto. 38K driven orignal. bought it last year 26K driven. didn't change it. now i am feeling a bit of jerk in the gear changes.

what is the recommended oil for the ride? and specific care that i need to take for getting this oil changed.

usually modern design toyota 4 spd automatic takes T-IV if its the partial lockup type.

find the words T-IV somewhere in the engine room or even the model no. of the gearbox.

Bro I have daihatsu boon 1.0L gear masla kar raha tha to oil change karaya abi jab lever Drive pay lata Hun to jhatka Marta hai phir jab transmission garam hota hai to gear bht masla karta hai mechanic Bol raha hai k dusra gear lagan parhay ga

Is mechanic qualified to diagnose automatic transmission?

Or does "part badli" and hope it works?
