Recommended Tyres size for 2015 Toyota Vitz

A.O.A .I have vitz 2015 spider shape , i want to change its tyres.after visiting market i am bit confused genuine tyre size is r14 /175 but in market dealers are saying that dunlop come in 185/r14 which is ok for this model ..I heard somewhere that due to 185 tyre size car consumes alot of petrol . I want to ask is it true? if yes than which tyres should i go for?

YES. Its true and I am saying it based on my personal experience with Vitz 2015 model.

185 mm wide tyres will increase fuel consumption.

165/70/R14 is the recommended, stock tyre size. If you do not face ground clearance issues, then stick with it.

175/65/R14 may be avoided (it will decrease ground clearance)

175/70/R14 will not make much difference in regards to ground clearance, so again, the choice left is 165/70/R14.

First finalize the size, and then tyres brands.

I had 165/70/14 tires in vitz...i went with 185/70/14 and happy with it..fuel consumption is decreased by 1-1.5 km/L only
But i am okay with it as long as car doesnt touch speed breakers !! Cz that breaks ur heart
