Red wine color is good in resale or not

salam to all. plz can anyone tell me that redwine color in corolla is good or not in resale and matching. I'm getting altis 1.6 manual in redwine color. islamabad reg. total genuine and 60,000km driven. what should be its price. model is 2012. is it worth to buy an altis. or go from simple gli in any market color like white or silver

In a long run its a poor colour, plus 1.6 Altis - resale will be low. However, if you go with 1.3 gli/xli in the same colour will have no effect on resale.

Finding an original unabused car is rather difficult. Clean low mileage cars always have resale, redwine has less resale than white and silver but it being genuine 60,000 km driven in today's age will have good sell

RED Wine, RED, Wine,or any other similar colour, etc. is poor from resale point of view, considering mentality of people here.

RED Wine Colour, and then Altis 1.6 1600 cc, both reduce resale further.

You can go for it, provided you are getting it at very very reasonable price, so that you do not face issues regarding resale.

If you will buy it at the price of Altis 1.6, in White Colour, and Automatic transmission, you will face quite losses while reselling.

YES. That may be preferred.

Will cost more than the one in RED Wine colour, but again, it will have good resale, and will get sold at similar price and early.

In Altis 1.6 in RED Wine Colour, resale will be slow, less buyers will be there, and those limited buyers offers will hit and hurt below the belt.

Your money, your decision and choice, but Proceed carefully and wisely.

From maintenance and resale point of view only white and black are good. If you are likely to get scratches avoid metallic color and especially silver.

RED, Wine RED, and other similar colours, etc. (however beautiful, attractive, head turner and eye catching they might seem) are considered here as feminist, and may hurt a "Man's strength" (if you know, what I mean), and ego, etc.

Lol. That might be the case in rural cities but not in the main cities. Here boys are wearing purple, pink, red shirts, so having a car that colour isn't the issue.
The actual reason for this is, like Dada ki vaxhual, people here still believe that matching paint for any other Color than white, is very difficult and per piece charges of those are higher.
Secondly these unorthodox colors like red, blue, green, brown etc, they usually only stay for 6 months to a year before the company discontinues them, hence they are called seasonal colour.

Sir you might know that I myself have owned a RED Vitz, it was in outclass condition, with CVT, an excellent option even for a lady, but trust me, koi buy karnay ko tayyaarr nai tha!

You might have been in a hurry to sell.
I agree that 90 percent buyers make a fuss about the colour but if stay strong, you can find the correct one.
I have owned and sold a 2006 corolla(dark blue), 2009 altis manual(light green), 2009 prius(shit brown) and many others, those that tried using colour or registeration number as a bargaining tool, I would ask them to go buy one of their liking, why settle for something less. It takes me say about a week or two longer to sell, but I get the desired price.

I kept waiting for almost months. First, demand was as per market rate, no response. Second, demand was reduced significantly compared to market rate, again no response.

Lastly, via friend's help, I took it to a showroom, and it got sold from there within 02 weeks, at the same price, which was my last demand (and I was not happy with it, buss woi baat, had to settle for it, as no one was willing to buy it even at the lowest price).

It takes me say about a week or two longer to sell, but I get the desired price.
