Mate what are you on aboutm theres nothing global about city. Its a cheap platform with bad chasis. Its just thailand india and Pakistan thing.

1st gen was exis, second was steermatic which got facelift too and 3rd gen is what we have now in pak. 4th hinda atlas didnt launch yet which did in thailand and india and mow this its 5th gen.

There were NO other generations of honda city other than these. Japan never had city it sold earlier by the name of ARIA and now city shared chasis with JAZZ that too a jazz extended version of sedan.

This is not 7th gen. Its 5th gen, please post about other 2 gens if you think im tripping.

Update: yes first two gens were jazz launched globally which were later named city. I wouldnt really call jazz gens a city generation. Speciallly the sedan varisnt of jazz is called city.

I need expert advice (who have real experience of owning the relevant cars) regarding as to whether i should buy brand new Honda city Prosmatic 1500cc in Rs. 2.5 million around or Civic Oriel 2016/2017 Model in Rs. 2.7 million around. I have driven city in past but never drove civic even a single time..new civic is very expensive so buying old one so that i atleast get latest technology and model because city is 10 years old (5th generation) and 7th generation kab launch ho ge,,kuch pata nhe..i dont wanna invest 2.5 million in obsolete model of city

I have confirmed from a inside source at Honda Atlas Cars Limited . He said that for Next Generation City 18 months are required to upgrade the existing assembly line So dont Expect Next generation Honda City Till End of 2021 or Start of 2022 in Pakistan in between this time span you can expect one more Facelift with Airbags and maybe Sunroof in Aspire and some minor changes like in past you have seen
