Refurbishing a Khyber into a completely new car? (Need Guidance!?)

Firstly I'm a complete car noob so It'd be awesome if someone could guide me on how to turn a used (90s something model of either Khyber/Charade/Mehran 'cause I want it to be cheap). I just need it for myself (student use & stuff). How much would it cost for completely changing a car (Like new engine, body paints, interior & exterior, seats, ground clearance, CNG/PETROL, auto gear box... and pretty much EVERYTHING that would make the car COMPLETELY comfortable & new looking for a few years). How much budget should I make? I would really appreciate any help...

(Do not care about reselling value... since nothing has any real reselling value in Pakistan)

I prefer a 2 door g100 charade with 1nzfe. Car should be about 3lac
Engine + swap 1.2 to 1.3 lac
Body and paint work depend upon condition. It can be done in 50k if it's not soo bad.
Note prices can be different depending upon in which city you are.

My preference would be mehran with a k6a powered auto engine.
Few days back a guy near my workshop did this.
He bought a mehran for 1.5lac, spend 1.2lacs on it.
With paint job and denting and lights etc, wiring.

Then installed a k6a auto engine in it. He even installed a ac on it. The economy he's getting was around 16-18kmpl local.this idea was because you said you're a student, maintenance of this would be really cheap.

Incase of charade as hassan mentioned you should stick with it..

Then comes Khyber, you can buy a charade for around 2lacs, spend around 50k on paint job
Then another 60-80k on engine.
Swap in a m13a, m15a, g15 with a auto transmission and do the same.

Thank you both so much for replying to the thread... Like I said, I'm a car noob so I'm probably asking dumb questions but help a brother out please...

Isn't Khyber more spacious out of them?
Where can i find used old cars in Lahore? Montgomery Road or some other place? (I wouldn't know if I'm being ripped off on OLX... And markets are usually cheaper than OLX)

Here's an example...

What if I'm buying a used car, and inside the hood pretty much everything is corroded & crappy(I don't even know what's inside a car's hood)... How much will it cost to change or repair ALL OF IT?
Also what if the interior is all teared up (Like the doors foams, glove compartment sides, seats, steering wheel, floor mats & stuff)??
What about Alloy Rims & Their costs?
Also How is a CNG kit fitted? & its cost? (Will the car be able to shift from CNG to petrol, whenever needed?)
How much will increasing ground clearance cost? (I have to travel to muddy areas alot)
And is Automatic Gear Box a part of an engine? (Like the k6a you've mentioned... or is it an entirely seperate thing?)

Again, I really appreciate your help... This site is awesome... I just want to know if getting an old car & refurbishing it is even worth it? If it is going to cost a lot, I'd rather just buy a WagonR/Passo on installments or something...

And your from Lahore. Body and paint work prices increases.
That would be much better. Buy a new car. Your a newbie so restoration is not a easy task to do. Budget always goes out of pocket. Need alot of time, experience and money to keep the car running after the restoration.
Dani_kk idea about mehran is interesting but I suggest to get a new one. And drive hassle free. In Lahore maintaining a car like khyber and charade is more difficult.

Exactly like Hassan said, either hire someone like professional for this project. Else you'll end up in hassle, since you don't have any knowledge about cars.
