another thing basit bhai when we check the registered vitz on excise office the engine number starts with 1kr and then 1234566 number
in my car there is just number on the engine no 1kr written on the metal
yes there is a sticker where 1kr and number is written so from where this 1kr makes it way to the engine number as it is not engraved on engine. checked few other vitz and same case

I think, one reason may be, the engine is already 1KR-FE, so need not write 1KR with it, but it does not seem like a very valid and strong point.

I cannot recall exactly what I wrote in the application form documents? Just plain engine No., or engine No. with 1KR?

I just checked details against my Vitz from online record available with Excise Islamabad website, and engine No. was not written starting with 1KR.
