Relationship Contract VS PBO / Booking order for Honda Atlas

Hey guys,

I booked a Honda City this week but only received a "Relationship Contract". The delivery date on that paper is missing. Is this the same as a PBO or I should be asking for PBO from the dealership? I only paid the partial 7 Lac booking fee. But strange that no delivery date is mentioned on the paper.

Everyone has the same contract but i never saw date missing on this.’please ask dealership asap

@fastian04 is the PBO supposed to be a separate document as well?

We booked just a few days ago @zee5han . It shows "No Record Found" there.

I just called the salesperson who was my main point of contact and they say they'll find out why that is (but why it happened in first place, i think any good salesperson worth their salt would know the reason - unless they intentionally left delivery date blank).

Oh, one other excuse was, because honda atlas is closed today (saturday and then eid holidays), so the date might show/update after eid holidays.

Web portal needs 2-4 weeks to show status. Date on portal will be similar to this letter what dealer told u at the time of entry

There is no such thing as empty date. Nothing to worry at all. I just checked mine, date was empty initially and after few days, when portal showed data, i got a copy again and it had date then

@fastian04 so I called the salesperson now. I'm being told the delivery date will show as August (they promised me a June delivery) and repeated that I'll still get the car in June. They said sir don't worry about delivery date on paper. Not sure how much of that to trust k delivery date Aug ki ho and they hand it over in June but I'm willing to wait as Aug-sept was quoted by other dealers as well. But right now I just want the Relationship Contract show a date as its blank.

I'm going to wait till after eid (5,6 days from now and ask again about updated version of relationship contract with some date mentioned on that.

Its a sap based system. In Honda qouted date is the one to be trusted only.

For the tracking status page, it asks for an 8 digit number. I see one number but it has 3 extra letters in start.

R04-12345678

I believe the characters before the - can be ignored? Also to be clear, this relationship contract is the PBO itself?

Eight digits after the dash. Yes relationship form is the only thing they provide. Its same as PBO.

Normally its takes upto 4 weeks to be shown on web portal

Thank you. My booking finally showed up on Honda PK website's tracking area after about 12 days of initial Pay Order / booking with dealership in Islamabad.

Delivery date shows as Aug 31st. If I go by the verbal promise of the salesperson, I should still get it in June as per theme, even though site will show date of August. shrug

I booked in August 2021 and website was giving me delivery date of 30th April. In April, I received a letter that it will be delivered in May. Nothing so far.

Have you booked through a bank because your delivery time seems quite reasonable.

I booked the New Honda City on April 21st, and the tentative delivery date on the relationship contract was 8/31/2022. They told me that I can pay the remaining amount by Jun 30. However, I paid the remaining payment on May 19th, and the date on the contract still shows 8/31/2022. The dealership says that we will now try to get your car delivered within 60 days (probably to avoid KIBOR rent payment). Also, the showroom is new and opened in March 2022, so they say that they don't have the a lot of backlog. Keeping my fingers cross that the car would be delivered at the end of July.
