You already did blunder to the paint and areas around it by listening to non professional ppl , for you safest ways is to use clay bar & heal the wound with wax.
There are ways to use abrasive tools like blade , sand paper & ect , If you would be in Lahore I can do it foe you , but the same tools in non professional hands are killing tools to the paint.
