Repairing or painting of original punjab number plates

Hey PakWheelers need your help one my cars original number plate good damaged after i hit my bumper into something. The color got disturbed and there are dents on the plate . I would like to know from you guys if there is a good number plate make in Lahore or faisalabad who can professionally fix the plate? Help will be higly appreciated . I don't want to get the duplicate number from excise office as it has duplicate written on it and it will effect the resale of car. Thanks

Go to a denter and get it straightened out. Buy a CD Writer black pen and some masking tape and do it yourself.

You can just get the duplicate number plates .As far as I know repairing the number plate will void you from getting on motorway as they have installed special cameras on all toll plazas who read your info by throwing laser on your number plate . So they won't let you on motorway .it happened to my relative few days ago .they said to him to get duplicate number plates or else he will not be allowed to enter on motorway after 20 march .

The rules regarding number plates should be changed. If plates are damaged in an accident then a rule should be made through which damaged plates are returned to the excise department and new plates issued in lieu. Duplicate plates should only be issued if the original plates have been stolen or lost. We concieve rules without any research or logic and just implement them without a second thought.

There is no "duplicate" written/ printed on the number plates issued by excise and taxation office. At least not in Lahore.
