Replace 185/R65 15 with 185/60 15?

Can we Replace 185/R65 15 with 185/60 15? will it be OK?

My aqua has after market alloy rim and there is no where mentioned or number where i can check the alloy rim exact size but current tyres are 185/R65 15 , so will it be OK to replace with 185/60 15 ?

OEM Wheels in Toyota AQUA are of size 165/70 R14.
Please check the pillars for a white sticker it mentions the wheel/tyre size and recommended air pressure.

Switching to larger wheels is an epidemic in Pakistan, attributed to ground clearance. Whereas nobody bothers for the vehicle stability and fuel economy while switching to larger wheels & tyres.

The middle digit is tyre profile please read this.

My RIMS are changed (already when i buy the car) and current tryes are 185/65 R15 , i know orginal is 175 but what old owner changed RIM, did still i can swith to 175 ?

Rims does not have any thing mentioned what size RIMS are so totally confused, all tyres shop ownder say just put what it was there that is 185/165 , very confusing

in short yes you can use 186/60/15.

if you want to really know what are your options:

please check the seat belts of your vehicle, there is year of manufacturing mentioned. Using the year / your vehicle chassis code you can check the recommended tyre size and use the same over whatever rim size is swapped.

Your rims must have 5.5JJ or 6JJ embossed some where.

That is width of the rim.

Decreasing tire profile for Aqua isn't recommended it will only Decrease your cars height
