You are right but
1.The pressure in the lines is fine when the lines are bled.Brake fluid used is Toyota's DOT 3.
2.Tyres are just 24000km old and in very good condition.Yokohama A drive 195/70 R14.
3.Always use Toyota Genuine Brake pads both front and rear ones.
4.I have not altered rear suspension and its in OEM specs.
5.Rear wheel alignment done from Wheels and Wheels in Rawalpindi.Dont exactly know whether 2.0D Saloon 2004 requires it or not.
And discs are preferred over drums but I think its only the Pakistan's unfortunate Corolla that has 4 wheel disc brakes without ABS.I think the old Corolla's setup with front discs and rear drums was fine for this model as well.I am tolerating the brakes for last 8 years and somehow managed this problem but I am sure if one has to press the brakes with full force even at around 70kmph the car will be out of control.
And can Ceramic brake pads be a choice instead of using Toyota's semi metallic brake pads for at least some improvement?I dont expect much from Indus Corollas thats why I am saying some improvement. The worst quality Toyota vehicles are definitely produced by none but Indus.
