Replacing windshield

Hi there, i just got my corolla 09 wind shield replaced from sadar Medina windscreen Rawalpindi. Though the shop owner was saying that the screen is fayao but there is no label or marking of it nor there's any other brand marking on the wind screen Please advise.

If there's no logo then certainly it isn't Fuyao or any other brand they are claiming it to be. Every manufacturer stamps its logo on the windshield as per the norms not having a logo is highly doubtful . With that send Madina screen has a good reputation , try to reason with them and take their word if they are saying it is so then let it be unless you are having issues with your installed windshield. Take it up with them first and report back. Maybe someone from Pakwheels can assist you further

i have bad experience of screen changing

i have two times changed screens
one is of corolla and one is of city both times water start coming in rains

i have a line in my vitz windscreen. upon detailed inspection, i realized that since its the orignal screen its 2 layered and line is in outer layer. that is why no leaks, or issues of any kind. just need to live with the line.

i did a detailed visit of screen shops in saddar. all of them have many versions of vitz screens available with them. however none of them have orignal.

XYZ is probably the same as Fuayo and both are good. i asked Medina Screen to show me the Fuayo screen but he said first decide than i will take it out. Fuayo was like 3-4k more expensive.

i will share further details once i change the screen.

use sika or any other polyurethane don't let them use silicone otherwise it will not only leak but also cause rust around the leakages.

what does he mean by first decide ? this is a habitual mistake people are making in Pakistan and following non jaiz ways of trade. Unless you see it don't buy it convey the same to him . If something isn't in front of you at the time of purchase don't buy it simple. Fuyao is a lot better in my opinion but see your options and budget decide accordingly . Must SEE before buying !
