AoA, I have booked an Altis 1.6 in Nov 16 from Toyota Indus Motors Shahra e Faisal Karachi and delivery is expected in Feb 17. I want to know following points regarding the delivery of car and it's scheduled maintenance.
- As this the first time I am buying a new car, can anyone guide me the complete procedure of getting the delivery. I have paid 500k in advance, full payment to be done till 15 Jan 17. Following specific points may be addressed in this regard:-
(a) what all documents to be ensured during the delivery time.
(b) what is the warranty period normally
(c) What all things to be checked physically on the car at the time of delivery.
(d) In case any defect found what actions to take.
(e) Can I ask them to deliver the car out of Karachi as I m presently posted at Jacobabad?
(f) are they going to give me accessories like tool kits, car covers, maintenance / service manuals? If not, how can I get them?
- Regarding scheduled maintenance, following inputs are requested:-
(a) what all checks to be done as daily maintenance.
(b) what schedule maintenance to be done and which place is recommended.
(c) Any special maintenance in terms of tires, engine coolant etc required as I am living in Jacobabad, a very hot place.
(d) Which company /make lubricants, engine oil, engine coolants etc to be used.
(e) which petrol type is preferred in Altis 1.6
(f) Any suggestions for interior cleaning and overall car service /washing.
(g) recommended car polish
(h) Car running would be very less, can it be a concern?
I know that I have asked a long list of questions and information but I am hopeful that some guru will answer them and would help me. Thanks in advance.
