Required RPM for Corolla GLI-12

Dear Folks,

What should be idle RPM value of Corolla GLI 2012 on Petrol and CNG?
Suggest some suitable workshop for computerized tunning in Peshawar or Islamabad.

depends. if engine is cold then can go above 3,000 rpm. in summer in is usually at abt 1,000 rpm(petrol) and 800-900(cng).

In fact from last couple of days i have felt that RPM suddenly downs and sometimes even engine gets off. Idle RPM is 800 in my case. Car has done 4800km only

check for ignition timings. was there any work done in engine bay of your car? if not. Try filling CNG early in the morning 8 am or before and observe if the rpm fluctuation phenomena persist.

i changed the cng station for filling and my car average has come back to 100Km per 6.8 kgs and engine is smooth whereas from the regular station since 3 weeks car was weird with under 90 km per 6.8 kgs

800 to 900 RPM for idle engine when not cold is alright. I just bought 1.3 GLI too. Having issue of grinding noise at abt 2600 to 2800 RPM, not below or above it. Dealer says its normal. Any such experience?

900rpm are best for idling not more than that without ac 800rpms are ok get it checked from toyota 3s dealer is dropping rpm

it should be 900 or 950, during summer season it should be 1000 coz of A/C

Yes it produce a little noise above 2.5k

Need help

At cold start rpm goes very low and car engine shuts down
And at normal temp car idle at 600rpm

Check the Iacv valve and read the post date before replying.
