Resale and buying of Auction Clear Cars

Hi every one

My question is that in our market we have Auction clear cars so is it hard to resale a auction clear cars

To my knowledge I have discussed it with some car dealers they have asked me not to buy any car that is auction cleared

So,
Does it really metter, I was planing to buy a 2009 model prius 1.8 new lights as its auctioned cleared with all documents

Please guide me on this

Auctioned cars are tricky, its difficult to explain to the layman what to get and what not to, hence people straight forward ask them to stay away, because 8 times out of ten, there are underlying issues
