you can buy a NEW portable ( wheeled ) air conditioner of 8000 BTU which consume about 150 watts of power to maintain a temp of 25 C in 22' x 16' room. during outside temp of 38+ C

approx Rs. 150,000 is required to rig a solar panel Inverter setup with batteries to use that ac, and when ac is not in use you can use other domestic appliances in the cabin

what you are looking at may work but will cause great headache on & off. Instead of comfort and peace you will be cursing loathing the amount of money spent.

Well as per my research portable ACs will all use at least 1200 watts of power (for 1 ton). I don't think 150 watts is realistic as even ceiling fans use more these days.

Yes brother I considered solar option but trouble is it won't work at night without a big battery bank and as you know batteries for UPS only last 1-2 years so I don't want to deal with constant headache of replacing them.

Yes you are right that a 'juggady' system like this will most likely not be reliable in long run....

am sorry for typo - 8000 BTU capacity is not 1 TON
& it takes 750 running & 1000 watts at start only
