Baqi within last week, drove 580 kilometers with full time AC, which includes 2 long trips of 400 kilometers & remaining 180 kms within city traffic.

And it consumed 42 litres of fuel. Alhamdolillah, happy with mileage figures.

Assalaam o Alaikum everybody ...
So I was on a tour to Swat Valley last week, went till kalam on this corolla. We were 5 passengers in the car.
Alhamdolillah, car was problem-free during the whole trip. No coolant reduction, no oil reduction
As you all know that there is no road from bahrain to kalam, Alhamdolillah ride was totally smooth & I was impressed by its smoothness on rough terrain & ground clearance of this corolla is ️

Also got the fuel filter installed from peshawar, on the recommendation of @Vaqas1

Bought the kabuli fuel filter with attachments from shoba bazar for pkr 700 & got it installed.
Its installation took hardly 20 minutes.

Yes, the bay needs cleaning.

For the time being, I am using that kabuli fuel filter. But also bought the new fuel filter to be on safe side.
For now the kabuli is not giving any issues, will replace it, when it will start giving issues.

Bought it for 500 pkr.

Alhamdolillah, this time it consumed 37 litres of fuel in 570 kilometers with full load & AC from Dera Ghazi Khan to Takht Bhai, Mardan.
I think 15.5 kmpl is not a bad figure with a heavy foot, full load, AC & speeds between 100 to 120 kmph.

No point in using kabuli filter, you can't confirm its condition and life, better use a brand new one and drive with peace of mind for a long time.

On the way back from Kalam, Swat to Peshawar I came to know that 2 of my shock absorbers got leaked one front right side & 2nd rear right side and they were not taking any bumps.
This was a DIL TOOT's moment for me. As I replaced all the 4 shocks with kabuli ones just 2 months & 4k kms back during restoration & engine swap.
At this moment, I came to know that kabuli shocks are a pure DHOKA
I just called back the guy from whom I bought these & he said "no issue, I will give you another set". But this time "Dill nhi maan raha tha"
Bcz after some market research, I came to know that almost 99% of kabuli shocks are repaired.

So decided to get the new KYB made in japan shock absorbers.
Bought the complete set of shock absorbers (i.e. all 4) from Chaudary Autos, Pesh.
Placed them in the trunk & next day reached home safe & sound.
Now Insha Allah I will get them installed after Muharram & will share results with you guys.

Maybe kabuli were alright but the amount of beating they recieved in shape of 5 people on board and traveling on Kalam road, it was just unbearable torture for the poor shocks. Both right shocks got leaked at the same time, shows car hit some very big pothole, which should have been avoided and taken care of.

No brother I am not that anari driver & been to kalam many times as I use to visit there almost every year.
In 2012 went there on Mehran, in 2014 on vitz, in 2016 on city 14, in 2017 on vitz again, and now in 2018 on this corolla. So ab itna to experience ho chuka hai. Eik eik pahaar yaad ho chuka hai ab
Never faced any shock leakage issue during all these visits except this time.
At first, the rear shock got leaked after that front one got leaked.

Same destination every year, you should change your tour destination, try GB next time. With new shocks you will enjoy the GB tour more.
