On first day of journey, all the drive was on motorway from Multan till Pindi, so everything felt fine. But the other day, when I drove around in the pindi city, I felt loss in power/pick-up with full load i.e. 5 persons, trunk full of luggage & AC.
Khair I then decided to visit my Peshawar wala mechanic, on my visit there, which was planned on the 3rd day. Next day, reached peshawar. Landed to the mechanics place, told him about the loss in power issue.
He opened the hood, after taking a look at engine, he said "replace injectors, currently your engine has 4e/5a injectors installed on it (according to him these small injectors helps in getting good fuel economy) Buy a set of original 7a injectors & then you will see the real power of 7a, but then you have to compromise on fuel efficiency" I said no worries. Just make my car powerful enough to bear with the load.
Bought a complete fuel rail including injectors of 7afe & got them installed. Felt 40% instant increase in initial pick-up, on new injectors, was really excited to check the fuel consumption now, But Alhamdolillah till now, felt no difference in consumption. All OK now.
