I have to ask, you changed your car rear springs with jdm soft springs. How much did they cost?
I am thinking of checking mine bcz they are somewhat a little bit high although very soft. Maybe I can get a drop of 1-2" by using some other springs.

Most of the aftermarket springs have lbs/inch mentioned on them, you can check your vehicle's weight and this shall help you get the actual drop in the height.

Brother your case was different. You got complete denting job done, whereas my car is fine otherwise, just this specific area was damaged so I thought why not to replace it.

Bro no idea regarding the price of springs as I bought complete kabuli shocks including springs n shock mounts.

Later those kabuli shocks got leaked, so I only got replaced the struts with new KYB ones & using same springs

But I also faced alot of rear tire rubbing problem with these springs bcz of their extra softness, causing increased suspension travel, ended up with spacers/packing in the rear shocks bcz I wasn't willing to compromise on the comfort, by getting desi hard springs.

Finally she is back home, from denters place.

As we decided not to cut the main frame of the vehicle, so denter ustaad opened the spot weld joints connecting the trunk floor & rear panel holding taillights.

After the installation of new panel, again re-welded the spot welds.

Ask him to further sand down this putine, it should be minimal else paint will burst out in areas with heavy application of putty. Are you painting whole car?

Nopes ... Only rear fenders, with in the trunk & area behind the bumper.

Btw why did you feel like changing rear cut? Its own was rusted or what?

nopes ... there was no rust etc.
Actually the car got rear hit from the previous owner & he got it repaired but the repair job was extremely poor. I tried my best to get things aligned without the need of replacing the rear cut. Consulted about this issue with many reputable denters, but all of them said, if u want perfection, u have to replace the rear cut. so that's the main reason.

Here is a little DIY I did overnight ...
Installation of moisture barrier in all doors. Basically it's a plastic sheet behind the door cards pasted with the help of Butyl adhesive tape. It also comes pre-installed by the company but in my case, being old car, they were damaged, so I replaced them.

But as Butyl adhesive tape is not available locally, so a friend told me about everseal cork tape locally known as "Kachi dori/tape". You can get one from automotive AC parts dealer.

And this plastic cover I bought from Bedsheet/carpet/curtain shop locally known as "sheesha plastic". Quality and thickness wise, its good.
