Restoration of Corolla 1994 & 7afe Swap

There were some gurr gurr type noises coming from left rear tire, so before fitting all the things back, I thought why not to resolve the issue myself.
So i checked all the rubber bushes & link, everything was good n tight. Only thing remaining was shock absorber, so I removed it myself & checked the spring insulator rubber, it was also fine.

Upon further inspection, came to know that shock mount rubber was broken. Took the shock to a shock repair shop & got the mount replaced from him. All good now.

So finaly she is back on the ground again after 6 consecutive days of my hardwork

Get it repaired from any good reputable machinist (khharadiya), usually the seals wear out & cant hold the oil pressure inside hence starts leaking.

During my last trip to Fort Munro, the car got a hit underneath & the exhaust sound changed instantly so it was obvious that there is a leak somewhere due to hit.

Came to know that the flex joint is leaking, got it replaced. All good. Also replace the seal of rear muffler.

And I just came to know that there is no flex joint from factory in exhaust systems of corolla ae101, if so then I will also get mine removed & shall get a pipe of same diameter, properly welded.

A fellow pakwheeler was selling this sub, so I got it.

And after spending around 1 month in the storeroom, I finally decided to install it.

Its banging good

Though I am not a pro in tuning the amp settings. Can u guys plz tell me what should be the optimum amp settings i.e HPF, LPF, GAIN, Bass boost etc ???

p.s. I am using rockmars 4 channel amp.

Last night i.e. 01-02-2020
All of a sudden, the clutch stopped working, upon inspecting under the hood, came to know that clutch slave cylinder kit gave up & the fluid was leaking from that area.
So we cancelled all our plans & landed to our mechanic's place & got the work done timely without any further damage.

This seal was the culprit.

After installing new seal, got the clutch properly bleeded with fresh fluid & all good. Complete job hardly took an hour.

Got it along with the complete dashboard. Although it should cost around 3 to 3.5k.

Get the hood cover for it, will increase life of the hoods paint and will look tidy .

And did you install new door rubbers too.I also need door rubber for my car because there is noise coming from driver door on motorway.

I got the complete doors in which rubbers were also included. Never bought them alone so no price idea.

Can anybody please tell me that I have 1999 model Corolla GL. It's chassis no start with EE100. Is this Pakistan I or japani Corolla.

its pakistani bro ... EE series is pkdm whereas AE series is jdm.

Nae bhai. Japanese bhi hai EE. But usually vo 4efe ky sath ho ge. Japanese 2E bhi hai.

E100 corolla manufacturing stop in 1996. So only case you have Japanese is if it's imported late. Which would be mentioned on book. Knows as "kota"
