Thats a confusing situation. Then how to differentiate a pkdm from a jdm 7th gen. Suppose someone is trying to sell a car with fake documents etc.

Alhamdolillah !
800 kms in full tank i.e. 40 litres.
70% long, 30% city drive with 40% AC.

Pretty good average.
One can get 16-17 km/l from these A series engine but 20km/l seems too good. I bet you drove at constant 80km/h to achieve this.
Have you wired up your fuel reserve light with pump cause if I am not wrong Indus model don't give reserve light?

Your engine is in super good condition. Use good engine oil and coolant in it and also use quality filters. Otherwise these are bulletproof.

my speeds were ranging between 80 to 100 kmph ... no strict 80, although I kept a very light foot to acheive this. Wrna usually 17 kmpl can easily be fetched with speeds uptill 120 - 130 kmph.

Yes Alhamdlillah it is super healthy.
Using toyota LLC coolant & Total 5w30 fully synthetic (change interval is 5k)

Although I am using local "guard, nippon" filters as I think they are doing their job well.

Bcz last month I checked the condition of throttle & intake manifold after running 30k kms with local filters & it was all clean ( whereas I was expecting alot of gunk & carbon) so this means filters are working fine.

p.s I replace the air filter every 8 to 10k kms & oil filter on every oil change. Also got fuel filter, thinking to replace it after 35 to 40k kms.

Brother the reserve light feature comes from factory in these models. I remember it also used to work with stock 2e setup.

If you use guard air filter change it on every oil change i.e 5000kms. Guard is best in local and lasts easily for 5000kms.

So this DIY actually happened in the start of January 2020 but somehow Iforgot to share it with you guys. So here you go.

Tools required:

I opened up the throttle body & intake manifold to check the condition of gunk & carbon build-up etc as we covered 30k kms & almost 1.5 years since the last cleanup back in Aug/sep 2018.

As I am using local air & oil filters, so i was also interested to know if they did their job well or not.
And to my surprise, they worked well. Throttle & intake both were clean & had a very light layer of carbon.

Cleaned the Idle Air Control (IAC) sensor

Bcz of coolant, no rust build-up inside the galleries.

Also cleaned the PCV valve & ensured its correct operation.

Keep changing oil and filters on time you won’t need this cleaning. For gear oil also try to use Toyota Genuine MTF. Change it at every 50 thousand kms.

I opened the throttle this time just to check the performance of filters.
Next Insha Allah will.clean it at 50 to 60k interval.

Using Aisin 80w90 gear oil in the transmission for now. Its replacement is in the pipeline. Will pour in Toyota MT oil this time Insha Allah.

Dear how to clean PCV and its perpose pls guide about it

I cleaned it by spraying carb cleaner from the both sides & stirred it up to make sure that the valve inside isn't jam & moving freely.

Its purpose is to take all the vacuum i.e. air & oil vapours (produced into the engine bcz of combustion & high oil pressure respectively) back into intake manifold, instead of releasing them into the atmosphere. It kinda recycle the blow-by gasses.

If it gets blocked/clogged, which cause vacuum pressure to built-up, air & oil vapours leaks out of the crank case from piston rings, gaskets or seals & results in blue smoke & oil consumption/decreasal.

Gear shifting is Soft although facing a slight grinding especially while shifting from 1st to 2nd & 2nd to 3rd gear.

So here comes another DIY: Complete Windsheild Wipers mechanism removal, service & regreasing

Removed the motor & wiper arms from the car.

open-heart surgery of motor. It was fine, opened it up just to increase my knowledge that how things work inside it. Also inspected its carbon brushes & bearing, which was fine.

Old grease is all gone bad, time to clean it up.

After Clean-up

The wiper arms were pretty jammed up at these points.
- First of all I dipped it into kerosene oil for half an hout but to no avail.

- Sprayed alot of WD-40
- Then injected some fresh ATF (as it also acts as a penetrative fluid) into the joints but still of no use.
Finally, as per friend's suggestion, heated it on a stove for like 3 minutes & it immediately became free.
- Lubed it & intalled everything back.
- Greased the motor the with normal grease available although I know it needs silicone grease.

After service, speed of wipers increased considerably.
