Found this emblem very attractive, so got it.

Installed the emblem as well.

Got some LED work in guage cluster from Peshawar

Also got both front wheel bearings replaced, one of them came out broken.
All this work was done in Peshawar last month, along with timing belt replacement.

Its time to install the jdm headliner. But lets clean it first.

Removed the old pkdm fabric headliner, came in GL version.

Lets intall the fresh one.

But wait ... we got a surprise here.

Seems like somebody has been here before & he broke the original bolts of rear view mirror & hanged it up with 2 desi screws.

Got the broken bolts drilled out & refreshed the threads with a thread tap.

And here we go

After this, I sanded up this minor surface rust & sprayed a coat of primer before the final installation of headliner.

Unfortunately didn't took any pics of the procedure later on.

But believe me you, the jdm headliner added decency in the overall interior feel.

As you all know that we need to remove most of the pillar trims in order to replace headliner, I then decided to get all the interior trims painted to matt black.

Maroon dash n door cards with matt black trims blends-in really well.

Got complete NEXA set i.e. basecoat & then matt clearcoat, to ensure the durability paint work.

After 24 hours

Meanwhile, bought a kabuli antenna from Peshawar during this recent trip.

And installed it.

Previously some local desi antenna was installed, which was useless. Hopefully this one will do the job.

Recently detailed the engine bay & landed into a strange issue.

Engine was running extremely extremely rich, itna rich k exhaust sy baqaida petrol beh raha tha, it was like from water throwing engine to fuel throwing engine.
Cylinder#1 spark plug was getting wet of fuel.

Even we had raw fuel leaking out of exhaust manifold. I was worried like anything.

• Replaced injectors (alongwith seals & o rings)
• Replaced spark plugs
• Cleaned distributor
• Checked plug wires resistance (it was in spec)
• Replaced MAP sensor

But all in vain.

One of my friend told me that you might have stuck open injector#1 from the Ecu, thats why #1 plug is getting wet, which absolutely makes sense.
So I also checked the wiring of injector#1 from ecu till the injector. It was showing continuity beep only in that wire on the ecu connector as well, hence proved that its not shorted/grounded with any other wire.

I even took out the complete fuel rail assembly along with injectors & cranked the engine, in order to see if the injector duty cycle is correct or not & it was also perfectly fine.

In video, it might seem like injectors are not working in perfect order, its due to camera results. I was noticing it with my naked eye & it was perfect.

Khair we ended up with moisture in ECU, which was making it do crazy things like extreme rich mixture & non-synced injector operation.

Cleaned it carefully & then dried it up. And issue resolved Alhamdolillah!

So during all these 2.5 years of ownership, I never thought to replace/flush the brake fluid & clutch fluid.

But finally last week, we broke the ice & decided to flush complete brake system.

First of all, bought some fresh brake fluid.

Then, emptied the brake fluid reservoir with the help of this syringe & poured old fluid into this bottle. You can see the deteriorated color of old fluid.

Then we flushed the brake lines respectively i.e. farthest to nearest of brake master cylinder
1st rear left wheel
2nd rear right wheel
3rd front left wheel
4th front right wheel

This ia what came out of rear left wheel, sludgy, rusty junk.

By the way, bleeder valves of rear right & front left were fully chocked, so I removed them first & cleaned them.

This is how I connected a plastic pipe with the bleeder valve to avoid any spillage as well as to prevent any air bubbles going back into the system during flush.

Rear wheels

Here pipe is connected to the bleeder valve & then going into the bottle where its dipped into the fluid so that any air bubble don't travel back into the system during bleeding.

Later on, I also flushed the clutch system
