The ecu is supposed to be bolted vertically to the firewall body, it has a circuit opening relay hanging next to it too.

The ECT ecu is behaving really funky, sometimes it idles perfectly at 700 rpms, otherwise idles around 950 to 1k rpms.

I am not happy with these heavy 7jj concave wheels. They are a slow poison for suspension n all.

For quite some time, I was looking for oem rims. Saw many kabuli sets out of different variants of corolla, vitz RS etc

This was a kabuli set of 15 inch & 4 pcd oem toyota rims

I was about to buy these, when I got my hands on pkdm Yaris stock rims from ATIV variant.

These are 5.5jj & extremely light weight.

That yaris was freshly delivered, had under 1k kms on the odo & the owner was willing to upgrade its wheels to an aftermarket bigger size.

Immediately I grabbed the deal as the design is really appealing & the rims are scratchless.

Also added half remote kit for keyless lock/unlock. Only connected lock & unlock wire.
No alarm
No hazard lights connected

Built quality is very fine.

This thing is very practical for a daily driver car. I regret why I didn't got it earlier & was using key to lock/unlock the car from last 2.5 years.

remote + central locks are very important and makes life easier, why not add siren and connect ecu or fuel pump through it? little security is not bad after all

Actually I hate the auto locking mechanism of steelmate remote systems. Previously I had a very bad experience with that in my vitz, I got stuck many times with the keys inside & car got locked.

So I was looking for a thing, not smart enough & just simply lock/unlock the doors. Nothing else needed.

ohk, i like auto lock while driving, but my current steel mate dose not lock when the car is off. except that car is off and no door is opened after unlocking
