You would be driving damn! Slow
Not at all, brother. We were three passengers in the car & trunk was full of luggage. Drove it between 80 to 100kmph with a light foot off course!I covered 525 km on the Indus Highway in 8 hours, including 30 minutes of breakfast stopover at Karak.
Sure, I will share!
That's an awesome mileage from a A series engine. And that's the benefit of low end torque
Almost 20-18 liters remaining......and 525 kms in just 25 liters of fuel??
nice project. where are pics of purchased body parts?
Yeah, almost. To be on the safe side, I am assuming that it consumed 30 litres of fuel in 525 kilometres & the avg comes out to be 17.5 km/pl, to be exact.
I think it might have consumed around 26~27 litres!
Sorry, sir. The car has been sitting in the garage since I came back home. I didn't take it out, even for a body wash. It's pretty nasty.Insha Allah, I will post pics of further DIYs within next week.
At the moment, I am facing the issue of rear tires rubbing into the wheel arch edges. It happened after installing 15" 7jj alloys with 185-60-R15 tire size. Now, the tires rub into the fenders with four passengers on board.Recently overhauled the whole rear suspension like shock absorbers & everything. What to do? Any suggestions?
A friend suggested me to shave/fold the wheel arches. I got them folded to almost half now. Still the issue persists.
Got these brand new vossens CV4 light weight alloys ...
Get a heat gunWarm the achers and use mallet to fold them. If you warm then right paint will not crack. They are rubbing the archers not inside the fendershow i had done it.That's 195 front
That's 205 in rear
Great choice of wheels. Decent and worth looking.
The offset of the rim also matter. I think the wheels are popped out hence rubbing. The 7jj is too much mostly for 215 size. The maximum you can put is 6 -6.5 inch.
Why don't you put some slight negative camber on the wheels. It will result in greater grip and improved looks
Changed color from blue to white?
Yeah 🤪 Blue mai maza ni a raha tha !
Actually its my daily driver & I want a smooth ride. Also dont know about this negative camber thing. Can you plz explain it ?According to my little knowledge, negative camber will increase the wear n tear of tires as well as suspension. The ride will also become stiff.
I searched alot ... But 7jj was the only option I got. There was nothing less than 7jj in the market.
Much appreciated ...
