Restoration of Corolla 1994 & 7afe Swap

Assalaam o Alaikum pakwheelers !
It is my 1st restoration project here on the PakWheels forum. Note that this is my first-time experience with engine swap & body-wise restoration. My motivation to start this project is the PakWheels forum & its members, who are helpful.
I was looking for a car with a reasonable price & finally got this Toyota Corolla GL 1994 with its original 2E 12 valve engine running on petrol. Its appearance is not that good, the colour is fading & it feels hammering all around the doors. The roof & pillars are in original paint, but there is slight rust on the roof edge where it meets the windscreen.
Drive-wise it feels better & AC is also working. Other than this, all the electronics are in working condition like power windows & central locking etc.

I planned to restore it completely, so I made a to-do list
1- Engine swap with proper uncut wiring
2- Dashboard (maroon) replacement with uncut JDM wiring.
3- All four doors, trunk, Bonnet & both fenders replacement with Kabuli ones.
4- Complete suspension replacement that includes shock absorbers, control arms, steering assembly & rear suspension.
5- Denting & painting.
6- New Alloy wheels & tires.

As an Engine swap is the first thing to do
So I planned to visit Shoba Bazar, Peshawar, for engine swap & body parts replacement. After a market hunt for three days, I came across this clean piece 7afe with original M/T & uncut wiring + ECU. Here are some pics of the engine from inside

It took three days for the complete swap with proper wiring & zero error codes, Alhamdolillah!

Here I would also like to add that we replaced all the 4 engine mounts, one axle-cross was bad so replaced it as well. Plus kabli power steering oil pipes.

Next day I bought all the required fluids from Chaudary auto, saddar.

After pouring all the fluids.

The mechanic cranked the engine & it started like a charm. The engine came to life with normal three revs of starter & I was surprised at that moment as I thought it would take long & long revs to start.

ALHAMDULILLAH! this was a happy moment for me because I was sceptical about the wiring & fuel pump placement. But the mechanic & electrician was good enough to handle these things.

My electrician is a good guy. He understands all the basics & technical things. I asked him that each & every sensor should work & there should be zero error codes.
He removed complete wiring from the engine as well as interior & prepared the whole wiring loom on the table.

After starting the engine, I took the car to the silencer shop for a 2" downpipe & bigger resonator, suitable for 7afe & new flex joint to avoid vibrations in the exhaust.
The car was silent & smooth after the exhaust work & down piping ️
