The car over heated due to leaky head-gasket which i replaced immediately.
Reason for opening the engine was to get parts replaced since it is old and i think I wasn't convinced as new parts would give the car better power (maybe mileage too). Getting the Pistons replaced with new standard sized ones (my mechanic suggested we paint the old ones and put them in but i refused because the temperature at which pistons get heated will most probably corrode of the paint and mix with the oil mixture) Wall seals am gonna replace to new ones as a car driven on gas does need those to be replaced looking on my prior experience. Then iv'e got the throttle body opened to be cleaned. Today he will also check if the clutch needs replacement. Replacing wheel bearings which although dont make noise but are o I wanted the injectors to be properly cleaned as well instead of pouring some liquid. Wanted the whole engine bay to get washed with petrol was also one of the many reasons.
So its not a kind of overhaul as I am not adding any rings, changing the bore and stuff in the car. Its a simple throw away the old stuff and get new one in to make the engine a bit healthier.
The radiator would also eventually be cleaned. Timing belt replaced, ac belt replaced and dozens of bearings he enlisted which i can't remember even. Upon opening the engine my mechanic told me that there was no play in the pistons so no overhauling was needed (Thank GOD!) ..
and margallar buddy, the radiator is a beast.. my car never over heats and the ac is also one of the finest even better than the new 1300cc i was owning..
Now im at work, i go to the workshop at about 5 then will upload the pictures i take there.
