Im thinking to make my car go angry too by extending the metal edges just like in the civic people are doing nowadays..

the thread starter in his last post stated the engine was out an this was a moment hed be utilising to clean the engine bay, ive tried turtle wax pre soax (reviewed by me in the car care products thread as well) to clean his rides engine and engine bay as i had some lying around...... an since the guys into his ride i thought might as well pitch in with somthing i know will light his face! Cheers mate!

have told my mech to get the piston rods changed to new ones because even though i told him, he didn't. But i wanted all to be new. So after a long argument he said he would go by Monday and check Honda for the availability and price so i can get those pistons fitted on to the new rods as well...

And we also had a fight on the valve section. Its all blacky although not leaking. I told him i want new ones so he is on his nerves now and will probably work with me to get them on monday.

Can u please tell me how much did cost u the Power rack and the power steering pump i also own the city 2002 so it will help me my power pump is not working and making noise. So i thought to ask u as a brother opinion and frm where did u purchased and whats the cost.

dear if your mechanic is a good one ( which I suppose he would be) then let him decide on parts too. At one side we have the obsession of getting everything replaced by new one as we want system to be perfect, but on another that could result in waste of money and resources.

So if some of your parts in good shape, don't bother replacing them and I feel that might be what you mechanic suggesting you. Don't forget a good mechanic wont use a part that could ruin his entire job.

do share costs as well, and best of luck for the over hauling!

i second @bluespark regarding changing of parts, if your mechanic is good with them so should you, and at max regarding those valves, check their seats if fine they are good, and what i can see from pics head seems to be in god nik
