That's one beautiful car you've got there. Probably the only Honda City which looks good and performs equally well. The 1.5L engine never disappoints.

Will you be restoring it or modifying it as well?

justr one suggestion
if possible please take one closeup shot and one form a distance
in some pictures i am not able to figure out which section of car is under focus.

Hello brother thanx... First of all its restoration because there is alot of body work. Since i don't earn alot of money the process would be slow. But i would definitely add a few mods to it....

Ok, yesterday i was very busy so couldn't upload the pictures, here is the part where we checked the long DEAD AC which wasn't working.

Place visited for Air-conditioning work:

HAFIZ CAR AC, Jail Road, Lahore

Checking the wiring,and bla bla bla stuff....

Check out the dirt, i feel so sad what the recent owner did with this ride...

Condenser Washing

Yayee the wiring successful and the Compressor heart beats are faster and the shocking part is the gas was still present (another wiring issue) darn... :S ....

This is called short service (i call it weird service ) according to the AC guys

Finally the Unit is neat and clean

Fitting the dashboard back....

Fitted, the thing i like about the interior of this car are that there are rarely rough scratches on it...

AC Blue light , YAYE..

The console, looks neat.. Just needs proper cleaning

Spotting at Jail road while the car AC was being fixed...

Two police guys were trying to use their fork Lifter to carry two motorcycles' but they were'nt succeeding..

The funny part are the car's current tyres...

The car looks like a brand ambassador for Bridgestone (2 tyres), Yokohama (2 tyres) and 1 general tyre (spare tyre)

Trying to start the car after AC work completed...the alternator and car's ignition system has issues...

I got the battery checked and it has no issue at all.. Darn, what do people do with their rides .... :S

I am missing the Neo sticker, i need someone's help in finding me the Neo sticker if there is any place in Lahore where we can get that.... rest of the stickers are here:

The Bonnet (i guess this is the genuine bonnet, hence the sticker is still intact..

Well i got fever so headed back home after leaving the car at workshop yesterday evening....

So some pictures i couldn't put up include:

Oil change,
Fuel filter,oil filter change, steering fluid change
Throttle body service (during this i found out that the car even has a cruise control system .. .. My uncle at his workshop tested the cruise control system as well which was working but their was some issue in wiring so he couldn't disable the cruise control once it was activated... So the cruise control is still disabled but i will work on it on Sunday at home when i will be off on the wiring issue...)
Lower Oil pan Head Gasket replacement needed (so will do that soon as well didn't have time )
Plugs needed replacement (didn't add the plugs yet, thinking to get Performance plugs along with wire set)

The workshop belongs to my uncle and he is an expert in cars so i'm getting most of the car work done from there. Its near the main defence boulevard (backside of kitchen cuisine), goes by the name Fazal Motors.... ill put up the numbers also of people i am going to for this project so it may help someone in future who wants his Neo restored

Does Honda City Neo have ABS???? Someone was telling me it does but he is not at all an expert in cars so i thought of asking people here..

Thank you bro, apart from the wiring and some mechanical parts, the car is in good shape..ill upload the trunk pictures late today as well.. All the clothing is in-tact along with few clips... so i will be completing the rest of the clips also today but rust is an issue so i need to give the car a worthwhile paint job because i seriously hate the current paint job done to it.....

When i get off today, i'm getting the car doors ripped off for cleaning and getting them fixed as well since the windows don't go up smoothly, plus also need to get new front speakers which i will get within this week Insha-Allah.

nice to know that u r mostly working on her urself to sort out the issues.I own a 2002 model city.Amazing thing is that the only difference i found between ur car and mine is the exterior shape and the center console shape,rest of everything is the same.even the engine shape and design is same..
Gud luck with ur restoration.As for the NEO sticker,it will be quite hard because of 2 reasons.
1- this city model and the upgrade version (98-2002) parts are rare in 2nd hard market.
2 - and Among these the NEO's were sold even less.So it will be quite difficult to find an original NEO sticker..better is to try even 2nd hand market in Pakistan ..

Dirty cheap light repair.... Im going to make these crystal as soon as all the mechanical work is done...maybe at my next salary.

Water from Silencer, although people tend to get happy when Water comes out declaring their engine OUTCLASS but this is never the case... If moisture is present (which is usually in Gas or the valve rings would eventually harden out) then you will see Water from the silencer...
do correct me if i'm wrong.. Some senior guy told this to me and i believed him after i saw his Coure which had its engine head destroyed and even give water when it started..
