you may be interested in getting that sheet of checker/chequerplate cut into the 3 pieces you need for your firewall,.. looks very cool and i'm also going to be doing it,... as soon as i can find some decent (3mm) stuff in ISB.

WOW! someone has been really busy! the car is really looking alot better now. so now that the body is done when are you going to be tackling the mechanicals and electrics? do keep us updated on the rebuild and let us know if we can be of any help.
