The doors are off so that the painters can work their magic...I hope!
Finally, the denter is getting around to sorting out the bootlid and the rear panel. This section is so badly rusted making fabrication quite difficult....but we live and hope

I haven't looked too closely yet, but judging by the botch ups I have come across so far, am sure they will need extensive work. An added complication is that the suspension set up s the same as the swing axle system used on the 300SL Gulwing sportscar of the 50s which explains why these cars reputedly handle very precisely......if set up properly ofcourse

Yes, there is evidence of crashes which perhaps is to be expected from a 47 year old car that must have slipped from grace as it got older!

Parts of this bootlid are so rusted that they have to be cut out and new sheet metal welded in. Respected denter sahib is attempting to do that!
