Restoration of my Kawasaki GT 550

A word of Caution....with due respect to Mr. Zafar (Billa)he is a butcher... screwed up my Honda XL 350, Honda XL 400 and then Kawasaki 550... the guy is a big time scam, phony 3 dollar bill.... my friend had a serious fight with him a few months ago for screwing up his beloved XR 250 (a rare bike)

Razaksyed, i know zafar for almost 10 years... too much of Allah and Rusal but when it comes to dealing... everything changes... that was the reason I always tried to get work done by is young brother (Kaka), I am not sure if you know him... but was good in every manner... job, money and he respects others.

Talking about your XL-350 what color is that? Is it Yellow?

the reason i didn't want my bike to be fixed by him was almost like urs. he almost screwed my friend cbr. the only thing wronge with his cbr was the plugs and zafar saab was opening the engine which my friend didn't let him do and took the bike to bashir bhai and he fixed the bike in hardly 10 min.

As u all can see in these pics both side of the engine which were so dull and was spray painted before i got it chromed

beautiful work is going on... oh now i understand why you want to sell your civic . you are spending alot of money on this bike I am sure results will be a real good.

i wanted some thing different paint job like no other bike would have. so after lot of looking arount i came up with this color. it is orange with pearl white and deep red, all blend togather.

here my painter is showing me how it would be like to color this bike with the color i made.

here he put some thing so that it would shine. i fhave forgotten its name...

indeed a UNIQUE color, for such a bike. most of GT 550, i have seen are in army green, back, metallic blue and some in red & black combination.

timming chain new from Lahore ( 2chains)
Pistons 4 sets of Honda125
sleeves also honda 125
chain adjester modified auto to Munal
cdi unit from Karachi (ranchore line) or any four cylinder car
vavle set, head and cylinder modified in pirwadaee by my self
starter and chareger were also reengineered in pirwadaee
crank shaft and other grinding polishing jobs also done at pirwadaee
Mostly You have to do all jobs by your self by the help of any motorcycle Mechanic . I hired a motorcycle mechanic for six months.
Purpose of installing cng is it is best and comfortable cruiser around the city beter than four wheels.

A friend of mine is biker and has owned almost every bike, he says the parts of this bike r not available and any thing mechanical goes wrong then u r i big trouble. As i told him that a pakwheeler bought this 550 from army dump, these were his coments and he was also saying that u made a wrong decision in selecting this model. Its a big headache.

thanks bhai but as u would have read earlier that i have already used this bike before too and never had any problem, and still while restoring it even the engine i had no problem. any way will let u know if i have any. thanks.
