And ultimately door glass was removed.....
being wrapped in news papers........
Some previous owner painted the car leaving glasses in place...did not even bother to cover them...,It will be cleaned before going back to the car..
Next came the window winding mechanism..
Window winding handle mechanism,bolts removed....
And window mechanism being taken out of the door...
And out of the door also painted with the car ....will be cleaned too.....

All the locks,strips and bolts etc are going back to their respective places.....

Now came to door lock and remote levers....I decided to leave door lock in place for the time being and remove the rest...
Removing tiny locks...very fragile,taking great care not to break any....
small locks and related things removed....remote levers disconnected from the door lock mechanism..
And inner door handle along with remote levers are being removed from the car.....
And now outer door handle....I find it very nice piece of gadget...This spitfire has all ORIGINAL KEYS..three of them..one for doors,one for boot and one for Ignition switch...
Quite complicated inside.....
Being removed cautiously....keeping fitting details in mind..
