Oh I do understand what you speak about........thats the thing when u restore any car...work just keeps on popping up from here n there.....
Can you believe my 68 spent some 14 months with the denter??? Its a record I know!! I should get a corner space in the 'car restorers hall of shame' for that. But the delay was due to denters negligence (he worked on my bug only when he did not have other cars in the garage, my slack attitude (I had the other 68 as my daily driver), and location of the correct parts n panels which was rather slow.
I wanted to get everything the way I wanted and that was not possible with a hurried up job. So in the end I was happy with the result....doors clicking smartly, hoods locking without effort, minimal bondo/filler required, basically a car ready for the next 30 years!!
Take your time on this and dont hurry things for the sake of hurrying. You are not chasing any deadlines are you??
