but cousin larry is bent
he says its paindoo kee zid, like when the paindoo wants to see minar e Pakistan and no matter what u show he still wants to see that.
These lights are Minar e Pakistan and my cousin is that paindoo
U cant beleive how hard i tried to convince him but nothing worked.
NOw lets see what comes out finaly

we are fitting those lighta fahad, but i personlay dont like them. My cousin wants them so we are going for it.

when is the denter giving a green signal for the painters?
i thought painters take more time, but ur denter takes the cup on this one !!!!

sort of, YES
he has to work overtimes at evenings only on Liteace cause morning rush does not allow him to concentrate properly. Still work just keep on popping up from here and there. We got some surprise rust at some locations around the sliding door and rear tyre Tub. Its just an error of judgement, and now its taking longer then expected even by most liberal estimates.

Oh I do understand what you speak about........thats the thing when u restore any car...work just keeps on popping up from here n there.....

Can you believe my 68 spent some 14 months with the denter??? Its  a record I know!! I should get a corner space in the 'car restorers hall of shame' for that. But the delay was due to denters negligence (he worked on my bug only when he did not have other cars in the garage, my slack attitude (I had the other 68 as my daily driver), and location of the correct parts n panels which was rather slow. 

 I wanted to get everything the way I wanted and that was not possible with a hurried up job. So in the end I was happy with the result....doors clicking smartly, hoods locking without effort, minimal bondo/filler required, basically a car ready for the next 30 years!!

Take your time on this and dont hurry things for the sake of hurrying. You are not chasing any deadlines are you??

I went there yesterday and as expected they were working on three other cars on urgent basis and liteace was getting minial work

I am not in a hurry and i am not puching them unnecessarily coz i know if this time is well spent, it will benefit us for years to come as Asad has pointed out.
So i am pewasta with the shajar

i think the denter has listened to AsadIshaque's words and now he wants to equal that record coz he is working at snail's pace now.
I am unable to go their frequently due to commitments.
Anyhow, a thorugh beizatti program is needed to speed things up which i have done to some extent, my father's driver also gave him a peice of his mind and things are better today. i will post pics tomorrow.

Got a chance to visit the denter in daylight, work is at a snails pace, and it is popping up from here and there, everytime i go there i find new holes and rust
