Upon removing the floor carpets we observed that rear floor got little rust as my father use to carr water bottles on rare floor at times rare floor carpet gets wet due to water & thats why it got little rusty.
So we scratch all the rust by the help of rage mar and than new namday (some genuine treatment of the floor ) with liquid rubber.
Once the floor was done we sprayed little white colour on it & send the car for some minor denting & painting (touching only)
There were two small dents one on bonut & ONE near tail light.
Also painted the both (front and rare) bumpers as they got faid.
Entire plastic pannels, internal floor wiring of amplifier an other stuufed removed, washed the car from inside outside as well.
Than Jani started his work, new seat poshis, foaming, side pannels, cleaning of plastic pannels, repair of seat adjustment machines as there was play in them, seat covers, water proof raxene matting, new carpet, trunk carpeting & raxene mattings.
Jani did an exellent Job..After washing of the car, new wiring setup for amp, cd changer etc
Than Jani Installed the new floor carpeting. We brought blue velvet for seat covers, side fittings,& roof fittings.Than he stiched the entire exene matt over the floor carpet. This rexene matt is water proof, saves carpet from dust & water, easy to clean with a wet cloth & looks great as well.On them we are using the rubber mattings.
The interior was cleaned & rebuild in three days,All the Time Jani was instructing his boys to clean, & he stitched my all stuff himself.
The cost of interior spare parts, (Seat covers, foam, rexene matt, rubber matt, side gatty etc) was 6500 & than I gave 4500 as labour to Jani.
The interior looks so awsome that my father was not believing at all that its the same car.
After all this I also serviced my Pioneer deck pree, its 12 cd changer & Amplifier. Also serviced the speakers as they were very dusty.
Compound polish, luster on interior & bumpers I went to tyre shop.
Purchased new Nexen 13 size tubless tyres, alignment & balancing, purchased new wheel covers
Than took the car home....my family was so Happy to see the car in show room condition again after 17 years.....and I can never forget that feel of joy on my fathers face.
My father is an old man he is 74 now & still drives his own car.He is a retired BPS 20 officer & by profession he is a lawer.
It was realy a hard effort of almost 10 days but the result was very satisfactory.
Dont have the pics of the car after the up-gradation at the moment. Will upload the remaing pics soon.
I hope u all will like my efforts.
Total cost of restoration inclusive of tyres was Rs:72,000/-
