Parts are being sourced out by a friend new and old, I really don't care what it's value would be after restoring it as I don't want to sell it. New car accessories? I didn't get that, thanks!

Now this is some progress! Great to see another Bug getting ready to get on road.

I must say though the updates have been few and far in between but worry not about what others have to say about pushing the project. Take all the time in the world to gather bits for your car and get it on road once each and everything is on the car which should be.

Do let us know if any kind of help is required. Good luck with the next phase.

I know, the thing is that I've been really busy lately with my classes that's why I don't get time to take pictures of the Bug and post them here. I'll definetly let you know if I need any help. Dr.Asad has been a real great help throughout my project from the very beginning. Thanks for your input I appreciate it

Finally, after a two week apointment the mechanic was free today. I went at around 4 o'clock to pick him and his son up and brought them to where the Bug was parked at, Dr.Asad also joined in. Here are the pictures:

Finally, the bolts that were not of the engine foundations size came off.

Needs a bit of shaking and rocking as the last bolt was stuck in the gearbox's assembly.

Thank you, I hope so too! About the chrome, I don't want it to be to flashy if you know what I mean. The chrome parts would most likely be the oil cap, ignition coil clip and a few other things. I plan on getting the shields and the fan assembly powder coated in matte black.

Needed to lift the Bug in order to take the engine out from underneath.

Called a couple of people to help the mechanic lift the Bug up.

Setting their hands on the car properly before picking it up.

Houston, we have lift off. Lol, just felt like saying that.

Finally, the engine has been taken off of the body and the mechanic is happy aswell.

It's on the bedliner, just need to push a little more.

It's finally on the Suzuki Carry and is ready to be transported to the mechanics workshop.

I find you extremely lucky, honestly that you have around you, such a veteran as @AsadIshaque, to guide you with dos and donts of everything regarding your bug, in person.

He is someone who must be fun having around with all those straight to the top results' solutions. Keep him around your bug as much as you could and see your bug is going to be something very sweet to drive and to own.

Good luck with the next phase.

I am flattered, I know I am very lucky to have Dr.Asad at my side through each and every phase of this project. I won't let go of him :P. Thank you, I will probably go to the mechanics workshop today and have a look at what he has done so far, will update the thread if I get to go.

The base coat of the final primer coating has been applied, the color which will be applied to the Bug will be much darker than the color of this primer.
