Today @NashTrooper came over to the workshop with his electrician. He said he won't be able to do the wiring at the workshop because he does not want anyone bothering him/asking him to help out with their work while he works on Blue, instead he told me take Blue to my house and he would do the complete wiring there.
I found the guy to be experienced and honest but further experience will tell. When I showed him the wiring diagram he said he doesn't need it and he would do everything without it. He then gave a through look at Blue and then told me to write down whatever he would be needing on a piece of paper. So, here what I have been told to get so far.
- 4 mm wiring (1 1/2 coil, he said a coil is 30 meters so yeah)
- 5 mm wiring (1 1/2 coil)
- 8 mm wiring (8 meters)
- 6 mm wiring (8 meters)
- Fuse box (@reezvaan will hopefully be sending that soon :P)
- Horn clips (3 dozen)
- Heat sleeve (6 meters)
- Electrical tape (6 packs)
- Seal beam holder (2 w/out wire)
- O-clips (6 of size 8 and 6 of size 10)
He said to get different colored wiring so that the different wirings can be identified.
Now, the plan to get the things required on Thrusday and take Blue home on the same day so that work can initiate by Friday morning.
Once, the wiring is successfully completed Blue will go back to the workshop for the final fittings, upholstery fittings and various other fittings/finishings.
