For the horn clips - yes you need the locking tang ones for the connectors. and for wires, you can get these in solid colours too, The shop I told you has them but in complete rolls.

How much should I get?

That was the problem, no one sells them loose or by the measurements you require.

@Xulfiqar here is the 'heat shrink' tubing (6 meters). To be honest, the quality is not good. I asked a few other shopkeepers no one had the proper rubber heat shrink tubing. I had to get it as their was nothing else available.

that is not heat shrink, its sleeving. heat shrink tubing can be bought in co-operative market saddar. If you go to co-operative market there is one shop that is the general supplier for trakker, they have all sorts and sizes of raychem heat shrink and genuine sleeving. its quite famous. The owners are pretty well educated and very polite.

Electrical work has been initiated, the looms for both the LH and RHS which connect to the indicators and headlights have been made.

I got a fuse box, it's OEM VW but I don't know which model it belongs to. Needed one really badly so I had to get it. There are two pins missing.

That fuse box has an entire array of generic Bosch relay plugs - use them for the headlamps (take the load off the switch) and even full juice for the wiper motor. You can also find a generic Bosch/Hella flasher - that will fit perfectly into one of those slots.

You will be greatly improvising on the design.

I would go ape - and even install a system cut relay - meaning that when I twist the key to START - everything except the starter circuit and ignition coil gets cut off.

I need to source out a Bosch 50A relay, an indicator flasher and a headlight dimmer relay. I know I can get the Bosch 50A relay from Plaza but I am uncertain about the remaining stuff.

I also need to get a voltage regulator (AVR-55) is what the electrician has suggested to buy and 3/4 inch (4 meters) of electrical flexible piping .

you can get new Bosch relays from the same plaza market or even get them used. The original wiring was never in flexible piping - it was wrapped in cloth tape - you can use flex pipe if you want. (wont look german though)

this dimmer relay function is not very special - I can route it via a generic bosch relay.. As people say shersha is no no nowadays - I cant help you but there were a few shops where hella/bosch flashers were about Rs 50/piece - loud jap ones were about Rs 300/piece.

Updates: 8/8/2012

After a slight holdup the electrical work has started again. Got hold of the remaining stuff except the ceramic fuses and the headlight dimmer relay.

Need to get a few male and female connectors and some heat sleeve.

Oh and I forgot to mention. The fuse box I bought from Shabuddin is heavy rusted and is not the one that originally comes in Blue's model year which means it cannot fit into the original space.

So, the hunt for the OEM fuse box is still on, if anyone has one do let me know.

You have got a post 1971 fuse box. This has 12 fuses instead of the 10 found on earlier pre 71 bugs.

Also, the 10 fuse box does not have the plastic rail above for mounting the relays/dimmer etc.
