@storm..thanx brother for showing interest. this restoration ended about six months back.because I am a classic car crazy sort of a thing so I did all this and took all these pics for my own interest and record and never thought that I will be showing them to any 1 because I thought that no one will be interested in these "fazool"pics but I am so happy that I am not alone and there are more people around me who have interest in so deep and lengthy restoration...
THANKS BROTHERS.

when I bought this car about 10/12 years back.it was not in running condition.there was no engine.axles, bearings, brakes and every thing was in very bad condition but I liked spitfires so much since I was a child that I had to buy this car.it took me about three years to buy this car because it used to get sold to other guys before I could buy it.I kept a track of this car from owner to owner and after 3 years when it was not driveable,I got it ultimately.......
I imported all running parts original, all new guages, speedometers and every thing except engine and gear from england and brought them my self and fitted.as far as engine and tranny is concerned I put corolla 82 engine and tranny into it.before installing ,I overhauled engine completely myself.
lasy year I had another trip to england and I bought original engine and tranny for this spitfire and drive shaft as well but could not bring it to pakistan.so I placed it there and came back.now a friend of mine (who imports second hand heavy vehicle parts)has brought that engine to pakistan and handed over to me about a week back.so now we have original engine, tranny, and drive shaft as well.lets see which engine to put into it...........I will post the pics of engine, tranny and shaft as well...
