im really looking forward to see the rest of the project.and yar who said tht these are fazool pics.......these cars were the history, i would love to have a classic hoti like this anyday the only thing is that i cant really afford all of this out of my own pocket at the moment. i have a few resoration programs in my mind but i dont have the money yet and the car tht i have in mind isnt really old yet!

Janaab if you dont consider me an intruder, i very much love these kinds of projects and restoration work done on ur vehicle is amazing with excellent coverage.

Just saw this topic yesterday and ever since having a sneek peek at this from time to time to see if some thing more has been added.

I have a confession that i am a biker and seeing... not seeing but feasting my eyes on this beauty. Waiting for you to upload the fully made up car with all parts shining.

And sir if you have more coverage on any other project... dont think that you are alone, there are many interested in these things.

first of all thank you so much for showing your interest in this project/restoration.when I was going through this restoration and taking of all these pics,I never thought that I will show to you brothers and you will praise and appretiate so so so much .once again THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

@imtishall.......I think about 135000+ were spent +5 months.we used 6 oxygen cylenders,about 140 kg of cac2(masala)about 40 kg of welding wires,about 20 kg of copper wires,a new set of welding torch(batti),about 6 sheets of steel 6x4 feet thickness 18 guage,one sheet 6x4 thickness 20 guage,about 10 quarter of imported(usa)primer which we applied on the parts we made before welding them into place,a compressor and spray gun,etc,etc,etc AND OUR NEIGHBOURS PATIENCE LOL(priceless).

now I would like to share some pics of the previous condition of the floor,front and rear sill so you could see from where we started....here are some pics of the RUST AND RUST AND SOME MORE RUST......lol

here are some more pics of the old rusted floors and sills from which you can imagine the condition in which this spitfire was.actually all the strength in the structure of a convertable comes from the sills and floors and spitfire's sills consists of three layers in the sill for strength but non of them was intact..you can see in these pics....

now we started cutting the floor pan..some pics showing that and some pics showing the rusted back side of the sill (under b post).
