Now the reason why I am not thrown out of the house...
I think only parents have this authority....lost father at an early stage and mother last year in January...As far as wife is concerned....she understands me quite well and is part and parcel of all the stuff going on.
I tell you dear that parents are the most beautiful/valuable thing in this world...specially mother....
when you loose them,its like you are watching a colored movie and all of a sudden,colors go away and the same movie you start watching in Black and white...unexplainable feeling..some hollow/butterfly feel inside.I hope you understand what I mean to say..

I would like to call it "patience" on part of your better half! - You certainly need to restore your bedroom after completing the restor of your spitfires.

You are absolutely right brother.....when you are playing with old n rusty stuff and your intentions are to convert it into brand new shape and you don't want to miss any possible details too....then "patience" is the basic thing in addition to availability of time and finances....
Actually so many parts are scattered here and there that I am afraid to move any thing to new location and want them to be fixed in place.
Due to lack of time can't do it...so things are lying in the bedroom....will definitely restore it once we finish our restorations.

Actually the real situation is that I am trapped between these two cars...Red one was back from paint job about 8/9 months back or even more.
We totally stripped that car including engine/tranny.After painting some parts have gone back to the car but mostly lying in the bed room,cupboards and stores...
Believe me that I have forgotten the exact location of different parts which we dismantled (almost complete car)..
But I know that all the things are lying in the bed room or cupboard or in a store...oh I forgot one more location...that is servant quarter.....Just recalled that convertible top cages of both cars are places in servant quarter and so the seats of red one.
I don't want to reshuffle things....want to pick once and fix in place.so its like this..
will restore our bed room too..INSHALLAH..

we are doing interior these days....I am going to share some work which we have done as far as interior is concerned....

Lets start making the interior....

First of all missing items on blue one....in fact every thing was missing :D...

anyhow we decided to start with the glove box......
There are two glove boxes in spitfire ....passenger side (bigger one) and driver side (smaller one).Obviously both were missing in blue one but fortunately red one had both of them...
Driver side in better shape and passenger side in very bad shape...broken and parts missing...

made from very thin card board type material....you can see the "Halat-e-zaar"

Lets continue....
I decided to rebuild these two glove boxes with water proof about 3/4 mm thick imported hard board to last a life time....which proved to be quite difficult due to their asymmetric shape from all angles....
any how.
first of all tried to repair it to get its original approximate shape...

This is driver side glove box....intact but deshaped due to age....
this is complete assembly as you can see...front padded bar is also attached with it...
